The queen of the hills is a Himalayan city in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is internationally renowned as a tourist destination for its spectacular view of Mt.Kanchandzonga, along with its tea industry and the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is a distance of 90 kilometers from Siliguri and approximately 100 kilometers from Bagdogra Airport (IXB) and New Jalpaiguri station (NJP). Darjeeling is well connected with Siliguri with four alternate routes or roads. Darjeeling has roads towards Kalimpong, Mirik, Pelling and all other tourist destinations nearby.
